The talisman is a random roll from that shared chest pool rather than a guaranteed reward from a single fixed container. [1]

Controls

Controls: Chests in The Pale Beyond glow, which makes them readable even through the fog. Walking up to one brings up an Open prompt bound to E [2]

Strategy

Sweep the forest, open everything glowing, then reset and run the loop again. [3]
