Mechanics

Bounty

Hunts are taken from the bounty board, with one hunter per target. Taking a hunt hides its listing from everyone except the hunter, who can see the price and last known locations. Cancelling prevents taking another bounty for 30 seconds. [1]

Effects

Released players cannot be claimed again for one hour. [2]

Caught targets are imprisoned for longer as their Kills increase, up to ten minutes. Sentences apply across the account and persist across save slots. Anyone can open the main cell door to release all prisoners. [3]

Drops

Bounties award Offerings, Silver and chests, with rewards scaling with the target. [4]

Requirements

Bounty listing requires at least five Kills and more Kills than Offerings. Raising Offerings to equal or exceed Kills removes the listing. [5]

A hunter claims a bounty by killing the target while holding that hunt. A target who logs out while tagged by the hunter is still caught: the hunter receives payment and the sentence applies on the target's next login. [6]
