Movement & Evasion

F activates weave with a 0.3-second parry window. Missing locks weave for 1 second. A successful parry negates the hit and briefly stuns and slows the attacker. [1]

Requirements

Surge requires movement roughly toward the camera's facing direction, actual ground covered and no combat tag. Backward movement, strafing, pushing against a wall or taking a hit prevents activation. A surge double jump launches forward along the run instead of upward. [2]

Controls

Q activates a camera-directed dash that costs stamina and has a 2-second cooldown. Learning a Class replaces the default dash with that Class's dash. [3]

Behavior

Dashes and some item abilities consume stamina. It regenerates automatically, taking about 9 seconds to refill from empty. [4]

Most serious attacks require exactly one of dash, weave or jump. None can be initiated during a swing. [5]

Effects

Each parry grants +5% universal damage and +5% speed, up to 5 stacks, lasting 5 seconds after the latest parry. Further hits are automatically absorbed during a brief post-parry window but grant no stacks. Combat does not halve this speed bonus. [6]

A ground jump briefly grants immunity and is the only counter to a green tell. Double jumps provide height and distance without immunity and have a cooldown. [7]

Details

Listed speeds are 16 for walking, 25 for sprinting and 35 for surge. Double-tapping W starts sprinting; surge requires 4 seconds of uninterrupted forward sprinting. [8]
