Mechanics

Gear & Chests

Chests spawn on structures and can be awarded from cleared spawn events. Loot improves farther from safe ground. Luck improves rarity rolls and the chance of an extra item. [1]

Effects

One outfit can be equipped at a time, affecting stats and appearance. Without an outfit, the customization appearance applies without stats. Outfits cannot be changed while combat tagged. [2]

Any wearable item can serve as vanity, changing appearance without granting effects. The underlying equipped item retains its effects. [3]

Controls

Accessories are managed in the Character tab and cannot be changed while combat tagged. World items unlock additional slots. Some accessories cannot be worn alongside others from their set. [4]

Behavior

Opening a chest starts a cooldown before another can be granted. Unopened chests cost nothing and disappear after a few minutes. [5]

Details

Chest loot has a rarity ceiling. [6]
