Mechanics
Damage Contribution
Reward credit follows damage dealt rather than the killing blow. Summon damage belongs to the summoner, and damage over time belongs to its applier. Self-damage does not count. [1]
Behavior
Effects
Bosses report the full damage split in chat, including participants below the credit threshold. [4]
Requirements
One hit at any range is enough to be named when a boss dies, with no damage threshold for that listing. [5]
A 20% damage contribution earns a monster's Bestiary entry, Monster Mastery progress, Ichor, Sanity, quest milestones, and kill-quest credit. It also earns a kill heal if the monster provides one, and Prestige from monsters carrying it while the player's Prestige remains below the monster's. Contributions below 20% earn none of these. [6]
