Summons

Summon items create temporary bodies that fight independently. Their damage scales with the owner's Summon Damage Boost and Universal Damage Boost. Summons cannot critically hit. [1]

Effects

Summon damage counts toward the owner's contribution, rewards and kill credit. A party member's summons cannot combat tag another party member. [2]

Up to five summons deal full damage. With six active, every summon deals 75% damage; each additional body reduces that percentage by five points, down to 40%. Six deal less total damage than five, and eight are needed to exceed five again. [3]

Summons deal half damage to players and take half damage from monsters but full damage from players. Owners cannot damage their own summons; other players' summons can be attacked. [4]

Extra Summons adds a whole-body count to each summon item cast. Some items impose their own maximum summon count regardless of this bonus. [5]

Summon Life Boost extends summon duration and the summoning item's cooldown by the same amount, preventing overlap between two batches from that item. [6]

All carried sentry items share one summon pool, timer and cooldown. Capacity is one plus Extra Summons, capped at two. The first placement starts the shared timer; later sentries expire with it. Carrying multiple sentry items does not extend uptime. Placement too close to an existing sentry is blocked. [7]

Summons scan within 50 studs of their owner. They engage players only if those players damaged the owner within the last ten seconds or stand within 30 studs of the owner. [8]
