Mechanics

Prestige

Prestige starts at 1 and cannot fall below 1. Each additional Prestige increases maximum health by an amount determined by race. [1]

Effects

The reported example has 250 HP at prestige three after killing two bosses, compared with 200 base HP. [2]

Each prestige grants +2% PvE damage. [3]

Dying while combat tagged, dying to a monster, reaching 0 Sanity or logging out while combat tagged costs 1 Prestige. Environmental death with nothing hunting the player costs none. A death costs at most 1 Prestige regardless of the number of killers. [4]

Death reduces prestige by one level. [5]

Obtainment

A player gains 1 Prestige by contributing 20% damage to a boss kill when the boss has higher Prestige, killing a player with equal or higher Prestige, or causing such a player to log out while combat tagged by them. [6]

Killing players of equal or higher prestige increases prestige. [7]
